Duties and responsibilities, subject to experience level include:

  • Management of client portfolio and workflow

  • Attendance to client meetings and providing expert guidance

  • Supporting clients with ongoing tax compliance obligations

  • Building strong professional relationships with our clients and external advisers

  • Conduction research and providing advice on value-added services such as estate planning, business succession, corporate restructures, international tax, capital gains tax

  • Mentoring and training junior staff

The successful applicant must have the following qualities:

  • A university qualification and a career-focused, personable approach

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Australian public practice

  • CA or CPA qualification

  • Strong technical tax skills and solid knowledge of Div 7A, FBT, GST, CGT, Tax Planning and Consolidation

  • A professional and autonomous work ethic

  • Commitment to meeting client deadlines

  • Excellent presentation, communication and attention to detail

  • A proactive attitude toward learning

  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, MYOB and BGL or similar systems.

Remuneration & benefits:
