Duties and responsibilities, subject to experience level include:
Management of client portfolio and workflow
Attendance to client meetings and providing expert guidance
Supporting clients with ongoing tax compliance obligations
Building strong professional relationships with our clients and external advisers
Conduction research and providing advice on value-added services such as estate planning, business succession, corporate restructures, international tax, capital gains tax
Mentoring and training junior staff
The successful applicant must have the following qualities:
A university qualification and a career-focused, personable approach
A minimum of 5 years experience in Australian public practice
CA or CPA qualification
Strong technical tax skills and solid knowledge of Div 7A, FBT, GST, CGT, Tax Planning and Consolidation
A professional and autonomous work ethic
Commitment to meeting client deadlines
Excellent presentation, communication and attention to detail
A proactive attitude toward learning
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite, Xero, MYOB and BGL or similar systems.
Remuneration & benefits:
Work with clients ranging from $5M to $250M turnover across diverse industries - comparable to Big 4 private client divisions
